Ben Mattlin

Ben Mattlin, author of Miracle Boy Grows Up: How the Disability Rights Revolution Saved My Sanity, is an NPR commentator and a frequent media contributor. His work has appeared in The New York Times, USA TODAY, Los Angeles Times, Self magazine and more. Born in New York City in 1962 with spinal muscular atrophy, Mattlin graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 1984.
